The garden on grounds of the former home of George Taylor, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. The restoration project was a multi-year endeavor as both Eagle Scout and Gold Award projects by the Schopf family. The first phase of the project was by Robert William Schopf in 1999. The second phase of the project was by Andrew Richard Schopf in 2002.
