Herz Playground was part of the original master plan for John McClaren Park. It is located near Coffman Pool on Visitacion Avenue near Hahn Street. The playground has play structures for toddlers and older children. A traditional sand base surrounds the play equipment and there are tennis courts and basketball courts nearby. A nearby building offers restrooms.
