Grave of the Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger. It is located on the churchyard cemetery of Alpbach in Tirol. There is an black iron cross with a golden Jesus on it, and also a little thuja-hedge around the gravesite.
One of the plaques on the cross shows the equation who weares Erwin Schödingers name.
Description: "Erwin Rudolf Josef Alexander Schrödinger was an Austrian who as a physicist became one of the founders of quantum mechanics. His important contributions, especially the Schrödinger equation, resulted in his being awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1933. Two years later he proposed the thought experiment known as Schrödinger's cat, famous among physicists. He also wrote on philosophy and theoretical biology."
