John Daly started playing golf at the age of four and has since risen to become a true sports legend. John was born in Carmichale, California on April 28th 1966. He graduated from the University of Arkansas where he was a member of the golf team.
Daly turned professional in 1987. In 1990 he won the Ben Hogan Utah Classic. He joined the PGA Tour in 1991 and won the PGA Championship in his first year.

His long list of achievements include being named the 1990 PGA Tour Rookie of the year, becoming the youngest active player on the PGA Tour with two major championship titles, and becoming the fourth American since World War II to win two majors before his 30th birthday, joining Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Johnny Miller.
Daly is one of the most recognized and popular members of the tour. He is known primarily for his power on the course. Daly is a consistent challenger for the Driving Distance crown and has won that title a record-setting 11 times as of 2004.
