This is a replika of an original Roman column, which was consecrated to the supreme Roman god "Jupiter". The column is located at the Neues Schloss (New Castle) in Stuttgart, Germany, Baden-Württemberg.

This is a replika of an original Roman column, which was consecrated to the supreme Roman god "Jupiter". The column is located at the Neues Schloss (New Castle) in Stuttgart, Germany, Baden-Württemberg.

The replika was created in 1967 by the company Günter Weinreuter (Freiberg am Neckar). It was a donaton of Ludwig Lenz.
In 1967 is was placed in the so-called 'Stiftsfruchtkasten'. It was relocated to the actual location in 1989.

It's height is about 10 meters.

The original column is located in the Lapidarium of the Neues Schloss.
It was found in Hausen an der Zaber.
