DESCRIBED BY MISSISSIPPI STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT 1984 MARK IS LOCATED AT THE COURTHOUSE IN OXFORD. IT IS SET IN A DRILL HOLE IN THE SECOND STEP OF THE SOUTH ENTRANCE TO THE COURTHOUSE, 0.67 M (2.2 FT) SOUTHEAST OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER POST AND 5.79 M (19.0 FT) SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF THE SOUTH DOOR.
