St. Mary's Cemetery - Canton, MA USA - Worldwide Cemeteries on Waymarking.com

In Canton, on the east side of Washington Street and Randolph Street is St. Mary's Cemetery.

This cemetery is on flat terrain and the roads are laid out squarely. At the time, I thought that there was the one lot at the corner. An electronic map showed a second portion to the east, which was confirmed by a view on Google Earth. The pictures that I have are all on the corner lot.

There are many monuments of varying designs and dimensions. Some are tall, thin monuments of one or a few names, others are family plots. There is a web site that has a map of plots (corner lot only). The site lists 1219 plots - not sure if these are all occupied or if some of them are prepurchased. The cemetery sign at the corner has a date of 1847.
