On the end of the 'kwartellaan' on one of the highest dunes in the Westduinen you can visit the platform original build to accommodate a German radar antenna used during WWII.
Only the platform and some metal footings of the antenna can be seen on site. There are some bunkers remaining although the are hidden beneath the sand. This radar was of the type Mammut. Nearby there was another radar site. You can visit it to, there is an observation platform today.
