A classic red phone box in the small village of Empingham. The village of Empingham lies between Stamford and Oakham in the county of Rutland. The Phone box is on the main A606, Audit Hall Road, and is situated outside the old telephone exchange building.
It is a traditional K6 design and is designated a K6b, door fitted opposite back panel and hinged to the right.
The door on this particular model is very difficult to open as the handle is missing, but it can be opened.
This phone box is up for adoption by BT, it is hardly ever used and the handset can often be covered in ivy.
