"Evang.-Luth. Stadtpfarrkirche, dreischiffige Basilikalanlage mit westlicher Doppelturmfront, Untergeschoss des Nordturms im Kern 12./13. Jh., Chor und Türme 1380-1420, 1430 durch Hussiten zerstört, 1435-1446 Meister Oswald aus Bamberg, Langhaus 1439-1470, Turmobergeschosse 1518-29, nach Brandzerstörung Wiederaufbau 1611-14 in nachgotischen Formen durch Michael Mebart, dabei Erhöhung der Schiffe, Einwölbung und Strebepfeiler, Brandschäden 1605 und 1607, letzte Turmhaube 1668; mit Ausstattung."
