We spotted this bridge from the site of a geocache. According to one web site, it is an "Abandoned pratt through truss bridge over Tallapoosa River on former Tallassee and Montgomery RR" source: (

The bridge is located on the east side of Alabama Highway 229, north of I-85. We found a dirt road on the north side of the river which led to the cache site which is a good place to view the bridge. The coordinates are by a barrier.
