This sculpture is of an approximately 6 foot tall coyote lifting his head up to howl at the sky. He is made from found barn/outdoor equipment and metals welded together. He stands on the corner of Wenatchee and Palouse Street.

The artist, Dan Klennert, is from Elbe, Washington. The sculpture was placed in 1998 as part of the 1% for Art Fund.

This piece of art is part of the "Art on the Avenues" series. Every year, the city sets pieces of art by local and NW artists out around the downtown area. Most are for sale, but some are on permanent exhibit. The ones that are for sale will be rotated out every year, and the permanent ones stay. The permanent ones were either purchased by the city, or donated by individuals. There is a color pamphlet that comes out every year, with photos of the art, prices and a site map of how to find them. The pamphlet is at most pamphlet kiosks, as well as at the The Wenatchee Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau.
