A large "E" made of white rocks. The path to get to it is fine, but if you want to climb all the way up (to the cache, perhaps?), be prepared to scramble.

We had seen this from the freeway (Interstate 15 northbound), but we never visited until we did the "Escondido 'E'" cache by justfred. Get to it by cruising up through the housing development.
