This is a beautiful Sycamore tree that went on the Apollo 14 flight to the moon as a seed.

This Sycamore moon tree lives at the Asheville Botanical Gardens. It was planted in 1976. It lives in Sycamore meadows beside a stream. There is a great plaque describing the Moon trees.
