This horizontal control mark is located along Idaho Hwy. 28 at junction with Idaho Hwy 22, about 18 miles west of Terreton, Idaho. The cap is about 60 feet northeast of Hwy. 28 centerline and about 120 feet northwest of Hwy. 22 centerline in ten inch cylindrical concrete monument. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1972 and was marked RENO 2.
