This is actually the site of two isolated graves along US Rt 6 in Warren County, Northwestern Pennsylvania. It is east of Columbus, PA by several miles. The graves themselves are on the south side of the highway and in the middle of a farmer's field. You have to walk up a rather steep bank of about 5 ft and then the graves are about 150 ft uphill into the field.
The second grave also appears to be a revolutionary soldier because it has a revolutionary war brass marker like the Raymond grave. However, the grave stone was not readible.
The two graves are surrounded by an old pipe fence which is painted white but is very rusty. The landowner keeps it trimmed around the area. We ask for permission for people to visit the graves and the owner said it was OK. The landowner is interested in preserving the history of the graves and honoring the men.
