1867 - 1967 Birds Hill Provincial Park Hon. Duff Roblin Premier of Manitoba and the Hon. Sterling R. Lyon Q.C. Minister of Recreation & Tourism officially opened this Centennial Park on July 15th 1967 by cutting a ribbon of rope with this broad axe, an original tool in the settlement of this area.
