It looks like it's ready to be torn down; the pool was filled in long ago, but look inside the broken windows on the front and you can hear the voices of summers past.
Unbelievable as it may seem, given the building's current condition, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. It is listed as a Mission/Spanish Revival-type building, designed by Arnold Sawallaich.
The physical address of the building is 715 S. Morrison Ave.; it is located on the edge of El Reno Legion Park. The submission form for the National Register states that this portion of the park was acquired by the city of El Reno in 1934, the year before the pool was built. The same document states that the pool was closed in 1991.
