This Church with the oldest part dating from 1275 has some fine medievil wall paintings and has two fonts.

In a alcove opposite the main door are some very old carved stone blocks from about 1100, which pre date thechurch and are probably come from a building previously on the site.
The wall paintings are thought to be by flemish craftsmen in 1450-1500 they have talismanic value. the legend is that if you glimpse St Christopher with his staff and the christ child on his shoulder crossing the river, than one would be safe from sudden death for that day one of teh reasons that the church is left unlocked.
There is nothing is mentioned in the church leaflet about the either of the fonts.One is inside the porch the other inside the main church to the left of the entrance.
