Johnathan Hensley is buried in Luther Cemetery, a nicely maintained area on N. Peebly Road, one-half mile north of Route 66 in northwest Luther.

His headstone is a gray granite stone with flowers engraved in both upper corners. He was born April 1, 1807 and passed away March 26, 1908, at the age of 100 years, 11 months and 26 days.
