Taylor’s Mill is located in the Maxwell Community of Tazewell County, Virginia. It stands on the banks of the Clinch River and was operated for many years by Mr. Walt Taylor and his family who lived on the property. For many years local farms would bring their grain to Mr. Taylor and he would grind it in to corn meal and flower. After Mr. Taylor’s death the mill stopped and fell into some disrepair. However it appears that in recent years a new owner has taken over and is in the process of restoring this piece to Tazewell County History. The mill and surrounding area is one of the most photographed places in the County.
