Dedicated by the Boy Scouts of America in 1950, this statue sits in the deep shadow of trees outside the Oklahoma County Courthouse. It was an unexpected sight while walking through the area on a visit.
Inscribed on the plaque are the words:
WITH THE FAITH AND COURAGE OF THEIR FOREFATHERS WHO MADE POSSIBLE THE FREEDOM OF THESE UNITED STATES
