When she is not on a run for the A&M excursion trains, this caboose lays over on a spur just south of the railroad depot, along with some of the vintage passenger cars. It is easily visible from the side of the road. You can ride in it on certain excursion runs . . . from their website is the following excerpt:
Seating in 1940's restored B&O Cupola Caboose. Only 10-12 passengers. Includes train ride, snack and beverage service (Springdale to Van Buren only) or lunch (Van Buren to Winslow only) and souvenir photo. Please note this is a true Caboose experience, this is without heating or air conditioning. (

Further research (thank you to fellow Waymarker, Caboose9, for the following info) reveals that this caboose never was a B&O caboose, despite what the A&M website say. The B&O railroad had only 1 steel cupola caboose, and it is currently on display in Schererville, IN. A picture can be found here (

A&M's caboose is former Reserve Mining RM 15 which became the fantasy St. Louis Car Co. SLCC 15 when displayed in the St. Louis Union Station, and then the A&M 150 when A&M bought it.
