The U.S. Post Office at 100 E. Spruce Street was built in 1931. The building was designed by James A. Wetmore, Acting Supervising Architect of the U.S. Treasury Department. The building is in an Italian Renaissance Revival style. The two-story red brick building has a red clay tile hipped roof. The central entrance is framed by Corinthian columns with an ornate tie panel over the doors.
The building is in very good condition and continues to serve as a post office.
