A beautifully maintained water pump windmill that is all that remains from a farm long gone. While this is no longer a functional windmill, the blades still give in to the command of the wind. The farm place that used to surround this pinnacle of the homestead was a victim to urban sprawl many years ago. Now, this windmill is a marker for a neighborhood pocket park in the town of Luverne, Minnesota.
