This park has a prominent location on a busy intersection and the tall memorial monument to Independence has high visibility, overlooking the harbor. These small arch bridges connect the parking area with the main part of the park.

There are two small granite-faced arch bridges here at the front of Mokop's Memorial Park - one with a double arch and the other with a larger single arch. They span a small, artificial stream coming from an artificial waterfall around the corner.
