Bohužel strop a kríž nejsou architektonicky odpovídající.

The Romanesque rotunda on the hill above Starý Plzenec.
The Rotunda was built in the second half of the 10th century. According to some sources, was at zasložení Prague Bishop Adalbert.
Arched part is only absid above, the roof of the rotunda was beamed roof. Rotunda was part of the Middle Ages in poor condition, part of the wall fell, it remained only in the right part of the niche.
Rescue rotunda brought Kokorovci family, who bought the estate. Rotunda had repaired. The input part is, since the Renaissance, is used on the floor tiles from the nearby church. The rotunda is consecrated as the Church of St. Peter and Paul.
Since the rotunda is a very important archaeological site, there was surveyed several times. Along with the archaeological survey was carried out here and rescue work. It was repaired the roof, got a new rotunda ceiling and a cross on the tower. Unfortunately, the ceiling and a cross are not architecturally relevant.
Although the original form of pre-Romanesque rotunda preserved only in the torso, it is the oldest integral architectural monument of this kind in the Czech area. It is rare example of the development of religious buildings of the central character. Interesting and important is that it is associated with early medieval fort.
