This is one of two old sundials on the outside wall of the Marktkirche (Market Church) in Hannover, Germany, Niedersachsen.

This sundial is much more inconspicuous than the other one at the church. But it is also a sundial which works!

It is only a stick and some drawn and engraved lines.
