Little Dragons
Our Little Dragons program is espcially designed for 2 specific age groups: 3-4yr olds & 5-7 yr olds. This is a life skills program which helps develop motor skills such as coordination, balance, strength, along with discipline and respect. This is a great class for your little ones to start building up their confidence. Our program will enable your child to develop a "Yes I Can!" attitude that will stay with them forever. This program will improve their ability to focus and concentrate. We can never protect our children from life's dangers enough, so in addition to fun, high-energetic classes, our Little Dragons also learn Stranger Danger.
Taekwondo ( Juniors 8+ )
One of the most rewarding activities that your child can be involved in is Martial Arts! Amys Martial Arts' program will greatly enhance your child's self-confidence and concentration for a better head start in life. Children have fun while developing skills that they will use in everyday life and school. This not only helps them to improve their grades in school, but also prepares them to excel in all of life's challenges. Our students also develop a more positive attitude that helps them say "NO" to unhealthy peer pressure.
Taekwondo ( Adults )
Tired of the same routine at the gym? Taekwondo is not just for kids! This is a discipline that teaches ways of enhancing our spirit and life through training our body and mind. Each unique workout consists of total body cardio and strength training - balancing mental fitness with physical fitness for an overall complete workout. Anyone can do it!
Tiny Tumblers (3-7yrs old)
Tumbling is a great way for your child to exercise in a unique way. In this class, they will learn the basics including headstands, sommesaults, cartwheels, handstands along with practicing coordination, focus, motor skills, balance, and more. These classes are split up into 2 age groups: 3-4 year olds and 5-7 year olds. Taekwondo is a discipline that teaches ways of enhancing our spirit and life through training our body and mind. Each unique workout at Franklin Tae Kwon-Do consists of total body cardio and strength training - balancing mental fitness with physical fitness for an overall complete workout. Anyone can do it!
Tumbling
Our spring floor provides an excellent environment to learn tumbling. The classes are split up into 3 Groups, based on skill level. Each student can be evaluated upon request to be admitted into the next level.
The following are what each class focuses on:
Beginning: Headstands, Handstands, Forward & Backward Rolls, Cartwheels, Round Offs, Backbends, Flexibility, Balance.
Intermediate: Front & Back Walkovers, Front & Back Handsprings, Front Tucks, Aerials
Advanced: Back Tucks, Layouts, Etc.
Cheerleading
Cheerleading is a great class for your daughter to express herself while doing exercise, making friends, and learning new skills. This class includes jumps, dancing, tumbling, and stunting in the program. Girls will practice for a performance at the end of their session.
Zumba
The name Zumba means 'move fast and have fun.' And that's exactly what we do! You get a high energy workout and an intense calorie burn to pulsating Latin and world music. It is a fun, different and easy-to-do excercise using a combination of fitness and dance moves.
