This is one of the best Middle Eastern Food festivals in town. Birmingham has been benefiting from the Lebanese love of food for a very long time. They are well represented in all levels of the food business from wholesale meats and produce to full service restaurants and they've been at it here for well over a hundred years so its no surprise they do such a great job.
A-La-Carte menu is a very good way to go here because all these festivals have a "Beirut Classic Plate" which is enough for two adults and a child and is great for a newbie. I had a Kibbee Sandwich which was perfect. Meat pie, a little dry. Hummus and pita, a perfect chickpea/lemony paste of goodness.
DO NOT MISS OUT ON THE PASTRIES. The longest line in the place by far was the fried doughnut line.
