The Johnsen House at 1523 8th Street was built in 1920. The two story house was built in a Tudor Revival style featuring a light stucco exterior with exposed half timber framing elements reminiscent of the Jacobethan Revival style. The house features a large enclosed porch across it front.
The Johnsen house appears to be in very good condition and continues to serve as a single family residence.
