This piece is called Breath and was created by Canadian John McEwen in 1995. It was purchased by the Walter N. Duncan Gordon Charitable Foundation and Canada Council in 1996.
Breath is made of bronze and steel, the artist used both photographic lightboxes and other medias in it's production.
The location is just outside the Hamilton Art Museum in the Commonwealth Square.
