Little Walter

Walter Jabobs, "Little Walter", lived at this site. The Blues legend was born in Marksville, and learned to play harmonica while living in Alexandria. He played often with Muddy Waters and Jimmy Rogers in the 1950's, and heavily influenced Rock bands in the 1960's. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.
