December Nights is an annual two-day event in San Diego's beautiful Balboa Park. The Park is all-decked out for the holidays, the Christmas tree is lit, the many museums in the Park are open and free, entertainment is provided in the Organ Pavilion and elsewhere, food stalls, and don't forget to visit the United Nations cottages.
