Fell Foot Park used to have a fine country house until 1907 when it was demolished. The occupants, Ridehalghs, were probably responsible for laying out the garden and planting the exotic trees.

The northward grove, the children's den building area, has one larger tree of about 3 metre girth with several smaller trees of 1 metre girth.

Whereas the group of three just across the stream have the largest at 4 metre girth with smaller at 2 metre girth.

There is a charge for parking, but not for visitors. Follow signs to parking area.
