Henbury Meteorite Craters, impact basin, Australia (NT) - Impact Craters on Waymarking.com

[fr]Ensemble de 12-14 cratères formé il y a environ 4000 ans par la chute d'un météorite qui se serait fragmenté avant de toucher le sol. La taille des cratères va d'un peu moins de 8 mètres à 180 mètres.
Cette ensemble est le centre d'une réserve naturelle, la Henbury Meteorites Conservation Reserve. Cette dernière est accessible en voiture (12km de piste) depuis la Stuart Hwy, à environ 130km au sud d'Alice Springs.

[en]In this reserve, The Henbury Meteorites Conservation Reserve, you could find 12-14 craters, from a meteorite broken up before the impact.
The craters have less than 8m to 180 meters large.
You can reach the reserve with a car (after a 12 km gravel road) from the Stuart Hwy about 130km south of Alice Springs.
