Each clock face has a wooden surround that is "house" shaped. The surround is square and larger than the clock face and has a pitched roof. The surround is painted white.
The clock has a glass front to protect it from the elements. The face has three concentric rings coloured gold. The outer two rings contain the minute markers between them and the inner two rings contain the hour marks between them. The hours are marked by traditional Roman numerals. The minute marks, hour marks and hands are all coloured black.
The centre of the clock face has the wording "Synchronome Electric".
