Jacobs Ladder forms part of the circular 1 miles walk around the falls of Devils Bridge. There to my count were 91 steps, but they claim to have 100 steps on the 'ladder'.

Jacobs Ladder forms part of the circular 1 miles walk around the falls of Devils Bridge. There to my count were 91 steps, but they claim to have 100 steps on the 'ladder'.
The steps are formed of slate, and every 15 or so there is a bar to stop someone falling the whole way down the stair case. The steps are eneven and children should be helped at all times, and the infirm or elderly shouldn't attempt it.
