The Eclipse Windmill was invented by Reverend Leonard H. Wheeler in 1867. The windmills were manufactured in Beloit, Wisconsin by the Eclipse Windmill Company. Thousands were manufactured and were used in virtually all parts of the country. They were the most popular windmill in the southern Great Plains. This windmill is in functioning condition but is not connected to a pump.
