The Dewey Bridge is a convenient trailhead for meeting support vehicles on the 142-mile long multi-use Kokopelli Trail in Western Colorado and Eastern Utah.

Prior to its accidental destruction, the Dewey Suspension bridge provided a means of crossing the Colorado River entirely separated from automotive traffic. Now parking areas at either end of the bridge provide lots of area for support vehicles for those traversing the entire length of the Trail or as terminal points for those enjoying just the local sections on either side of the River.
