Saddleback Mountain is a mountain located in Rangeley, Franklin County, Maine. Saddleback is one of the highest mountains in the State of Maine, and one of the fourteen with more than 2,000 ft (610 m) of topographic prominence. The mountain is the site of Saddleback ski resort.
This mountain has a 1 mile exposed ridge along the Appalachian Trail between the two summits, Saddleback at 4,116' and "The Horn" at 4,023'.
The Appalachian Trail, a 2,170-mile (3,500-km) National Scenic Trail from Georgia to Maine, runs along the ridge of Saddleback, including the summit of Saddleback.
