At Scipio, Millard County, at the schoolhouse, at the southeast corner of the school grounds, at the northwest corner of the angle in the Salt Lake Highway, 49 feet north of the center line of the east-and-west road, about 50 feet west of the north-and-south road, 2 feet west of a fence, and 1.5 feet north of another fence. A United States Geological Survey standard disk, stamped 5306 H 109 1931 and set in the top of a concrete post.

This description is completely outdated: There is no schoolhouse; the schoolgrounds are now a park; the Salt Lake Highway is State Street (US Highway 50) and their is no angle in the highway; the east-and-west road is Center Street; the distances to the roads is no longer accurate; there are no fences.
