The Gurkha Soldier - London, UK - Specific Veteran Memorials on Waymarking.com

This monument to the Gurkha soldiers of World War I and II was unveiled in 1997. It was sculpted by Philip Jackson using a model by Richard Reginald Goulden. It depicts a bronze Gurkha soldier standing at ease, wearing short military uniform (including short pants and a large brimmed hat). He holds bayonetted rifle at rest in front of him.
