The hedge is in the gardens of Tatton House within Tatton Park. Access to the park is free to all but access to the House and / or Gardens (and hence the topiary) is free to members of the National Trust or otherwise charged to non-members. The topiary is made up of a very large closely cropped and shaped yew hedge (around 10 metres high in places) topped with various idiosyncratic designs, including a bird.
