Set in 1929 by U.S.Forest Service, marked 7, elev 4749. This benchmark was set in a rock outcrop west of Rd. 2259. From the junction of Rds. 23 & 2259 go south on Rd. 2259 for 0.8 miles then right on Rd. 2259 550 for 0.15 miles. Benchmark is on large boulder about 20 feet east of road.
