Scott Township is an area of Vanderburgh County, IN just north of Evansville. This area is one of the highest growing areas around with no subdivisions being built nearby all the time. For that reason, in 2003, Scott Township built this park to help bring a place for outdoor exercise and recreation to those moving out of the city to the suburbs.
Scott Park is 37 acres and contains a 2-acre stocked pond for fishing. There are also 5 walking trails through the wooded land. The park also has a playground and a few pavilions and shelterhouses that are available for rent.
