This monument was erected by 2 Eagle Scout candidates to memorialize those who died, were injured or otherwise effected by the events of 9/11. It is said to be especially dedicated to those who gave their lives trying to rescue others as well as those who serve as fire fighters, police officers and armed forces service people. The plaque includes an engraving of a flag and the famous image of the fire fighters rasing the flag at ground zero.
On the grounds of Provo Fire Station #3 and located along the Provo River Parkway Trail.

We Will Never
Forget Our Heroes
In Memory Of
The innocent victims who tragically died or were injured,
and everyone who suffered -
especially those who heroically gave their lives in the line of duty on
September 11, 2001
And in Appreciation and Honor of
Our own Firemen, Police Officers, the men and women of the
Armed Services and all those who dedicate their lives for our
safety, our security, our peace of mind and for our freedom
