This Hidden Mickey is a projection on a pair of trees, set almost back to back, inside a new Disney Store. The Disney Store is situated in the east section, second level, in the City Creek Center. Located at 50 South Main Street, the City Creek Center and the Disney Store opened on March 22, 2012.
The tree, where Mickey can be seen, is a flat silhouette cutout that has three separate scenes that are sequentially projected on it. One scene shows the logo for the Disney Store's 25th Anniversary. The second scene depicts various characters from Alice in Wonderland. The third scene is an animation of the leaves of the tree coming alive, with a small Mickey head near a bird coming out of a hole in the center of the tree. If you don't see the scene with Mickey, just wait a minute for the scenes to cycle through and he'll be there.
