Die Statue wurde vom Aschauer Bildhauer 'Franz Feistl' 1998 angefertigt. Sie basiert auf Grabungen und Funden aus der Laubenstein Region.

The statue was made by the sculptor Franz Feistl from Aschau in 1998. The bear was made after discoveries and excavations from the Laubenstein area.
