The middle of three lime kilns along the edge of limestone. Not a listed structure, yet in as good condition as other two.

This is a limestone area, as evidenced by all the walls. This kiln like the other two is built in to the slope. Easier to load top with materials. Top is now overgrown with small bushes. Hearth is still open.

All three lime kilns were for sale in 1821. Document held at Barrow Records Office.
